Can you tell us a little about your background?
I grew up on a small farm outside of Canton, Georgia, surrounded by animals. To this day I still love riding horses. I have always lived in Georgia but I’ve been all over the world on vacations with my family.
What is your favorite pastime?
Concerts with my fiance, margarita Tuesday with my friends, riding my horses.
What are your favorite and least favorite foods?
I really love tacos. Conversely, I really hate anything adventurous or too spicy.
Which fictional character would you most like to swap lives with and why?
Merida from Brave. She’s an awesome rider, does what she wants, and doesn’t conform to what everyone thinks she should do.
If you could spend a day doing whatever you wanted, what would you do?
I would spend it traveling to a new city and going on some adventures.
How did you get started in your industry?
A good friend of mine (whom I met through riding horses) offered me a job after college at a tech company (which got me involved in tech). I’ve been in various roles including HR, Sales, and Operations with tech companies ever since.
What drew you to CapStorm?
I knew people from a previous job who worked here, and I liked the small company vibe. Once I met Greg and Mary (the founders) and the rest of the team, I was sold.
Who inspires you the most here at CapStorm?
Mary – she’s quiet but mighty.
What is one thing you learned in the previous month at work?
I am always learning something new with my job – probably too many to list.
What’s been your favorite project here so far?
Learning how our customers use CapStorm to help support their business and teams alongside our sales team. And planning the company trips 🙂 .
What are your goals for the next six months?
Expand on some new Trailheads, to see how they can benefit my role and better support our customers.
